Web Design, Development, Enhancement

This section should give you some information about the different parameters to take into account for the cost of a service. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements or for a quotation.

Initial design and development
The cost of the initial design and development of a new website depends on several parameters of which: Complexity of the design Size of the website Image/graphics work involved Dynamic forms needed (e.g. contact form)
Enhancement
The cost of enhancing an existing website depends on several parameters of which: Redesign required Image/graphics work involved Dynamic forms needed (e.g. contact form) Search Engine Optimization Application of latest Web Standards for validation and accessibility
Further updates and changes
Further updates and changes made to a website can be charged either each time they occur or as part of a yearly maintenance fee that includes an agreed number of changes available throughout the year.

Web Services

Envisage the Web does not have its own servers and as such cannot provide domain name, email and hosting services directly to its clients. However, Envisage the Web can take care of the domain name registration and management, the setting up of emails and the setting up and management of the hosting package of its clients, providing all the information necessary is made available to us (e.g. allowing us to access the control panel of your hosting package).

Domain name registration
A domain name can be registered either with a provider of your choice or with one recommended by Envisage the Web. The cost of the registration is set by the provider and we forward the cost to you in a transparent way (you can choose to pay the provider directly) We only charge a small fee for registering the domain name for you We provide free advice on the type of domain most suited to your business The domain name is registered to your name and is owned by you The domain name has to be renewed yearly with the provider
Domain name transfer
Your domain name can be transferred from your existing provider either to another provider of your choice or to one recommended by Envisage the Web. The cost of the transfer is set by the new provider and we forward the cost to you in a transparent way We only charge a small fee for setting up and monitoring the transfer
Hosting
You can have your website hosted by a hosting provider of your choice or by one recommended by Envisage the Web. The cost for hosting your website depends on the hosting package you choose. The cost of the hosting package is set by the provider and we forward the cost to you in a transparent way (you can choose to pay the hosting provider directly) We provide free advice on the type of hosting package most suited to your business We charge a small fee for the setting up of your hosting package We can manage your hosting package on a yearly basis for a small fee The hosting package is in your own name The hosting package has to be revewed yearly with the provider
Email
The email facilities are provided by the hosting provider. The cost for this service is included in your hosting package, providing your hosting package does include email facilities. If not you will need to upgrade to the next hosting package with email (we can manage this for you) We provide free advice on the type of email facility most suited to your business We charge a small fee for the setting up of email accounts and email forwardings you need We provide free support for the setting up of your email account on your email client (such as MS Outlook)
