Angelina Cottage is a lovely bed and breakfast located near Ely, Cambridgeshire. Julia, the host, always offers a very warm and friendly welcome to all her guests, making them feel at home. She wanted a simple and smart website that reflects the friendly atmosphere of the bed and breakfast while highlighting the great assets of the house.

We designed the website using a colour scheme based on the main colours dominating in the bed and breakfast. We made some objects stand out such as the old letter box and the front door medallion to give a bit more character to the pages. We used excellent quality pictures provided by Julia and blend them with the overall site design, using a picture editing software such as Photoshop.

The website contains around 12 static HTML pages. We used CSS classes to style it and JavaScript to make some pages a bit more dynamic such as the viewing of the rooms' pictures.

This tool is utilised by several medical fields within the NHS. It is developed by one of our client who needed external expertise to assist with the development.

Our role involved the implementation of new features for the administration of the tool and the assessment process, testing and customer support.

We also worked with our client on the development of a training tool to support the Online Exterrnal Quality Assessment tool.

Some of our clients requested our services to help them develop E-Commerce projects for their own clients.

The E-Commerce websites we worked on looked at selling products online such as gifts, steel fabrications for the storage industry and grave care maintenance services.

Our role stretched from creating catalog pages and databases to handling the shopping basket and setting up the online payment process.

We have helped clients to develop portals for their own clients. To give a few examples of the work we have done:

We worked on the development of a job search portal to allow users to search for jobs based on specific criteria and to allow administrators to manage the jobs advertised online.

We helped develop a portal where specific companies can be invited to bid for a given project and place their bid.

We worked in collaboration with other freelance developers on the creation of several portals for Golf Clubs throughout the UK.
