About Us
Envisage the Web is a young and dynamic business that provides services for the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of websites, web portals, e-commerce websites, content management systems and other web applications. Envisage the Web also provides translation and proofreading services from English to French for the localization of websites and the translation and proofreading of technical and general documents.
The business was founded in Worcestershire, UK, in January 2007 by Julie Olliero and relocated to Glasgow at the end of 2007.
Julie is our Senior Web Developer and she brings to Envisage the Web a high level of competence and a solid experience in a variety of Web Technologies. Julie studied in France for four years where she graduated with a Master's degree in Computing from CPE Lyon, a French Graduate School. She also holds a Master's degree in Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Before setting up Envisage the Web, she worked for British Telecom as well as for SMEs where her role involved project management, customer relationship skills, and web development skills. Julie has also been working on translation projects in the past and she is currently preparing the Diploma in Translation (DipTrans) of the Institute of Linguists. The DipTrans is a high level professional translating qualification and it will bring to Envisage the Web a recognition of a professional standard in translation.
